4/10 Spurs star was just as bad as Werner vs Rangers

da supremo: Tottenham Hotspur’s recent run of bad form was extended in Glasgow last night.

da esoccer bet: Ange Postecoglou returned to the city where he made his name in British football, but instead of facing his old club, Celtic, an intense Europa League clash with Rangers awaited him and his side.

The hosts looked the far better of the two teams, and while Dejan Kulusevski managed to salvage a point for the North Londoners, it was another display that has only cast more doubt on the Australian’s project.

There were poor performances all over the pitch for the visitors, but there were two that perhaps stood out, with one of them being Timo Werer.

Timo Werner's game vs Rangers

It would probably be fair to say that even going back to when he first arrived at the club midway through last season, Werner has been an underwhelming, boarding-on poor addition to Spurs’ squad, and last night showed that yet again.

The former Chelsea flop started off the left, and aside from a shot he sent miles over the bar early on, he offered pretty much no attacking threat whatsoever, which made life incredibly easy for Rangers’ right-hand side.

Moreover, the RB Leipzig-loanee seemed unable to track back either, so Destiny Udogie was left to deal with the marauding Václav Černý and James Tavernier all alone at times.

It was such a dire display that Postecoglou hooked him at half-time and told the press his performance “wasn’t acceptable” in his post-match comments, which makes the 3/10 match rating he received from the Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick look almost too kind.

While this all could sound hyperbolic, it’s entirely backed up by his statistics, as in 46 minutes of action, the Stuttgart-born dud amassed a combined expected goal plus assists figure of 0.09, failed to take a single shot on target, failed in 100% of his crosses and dribbles, lost 100% of his duels, lost the ball 18 times was unable to play a single key pass and only completed 69% of his passes.

In all, it was an abysmal showing from the 28-year-old, although one of his teammates was arguably as poor on the other flank.

Pedro Porro's game vs Rangers

Yes, the player we are talking about is Spanish right-back Pedro Porro, who put in yet another dreadful performance for Spurs last night.

Like his German teammate, the former Sporting CP ace was utterly hopeless going forward, with the only meaningful contribution he made being a shot midway through the second half, which was saved by Jack Butland.

However, the biggest issue with his game last night was the same problem that’s been singled out multiple times this year: his defensive fragility.

For example, he lost Hamza Igamane for the opening goal and was constantly being attacked as Rangers could sense he wasn’t up to the battle, making Kilpatrick’s 4/10 match rating feel more than justified.

Unsurprisingly, his statistics from the game were also poor, as in 93 minutes of action, the defensive “horror”, as dubbed by journalist Mitch Fretton, amassed an expected goal plus assists figure of 0.08, was dribbled past four times, lost six of nine duels, lost the ball 20 times, committed one foul, misplaced seven of eight long balls and two of three crosses.

Ultimately, it was a night to forget for the entire Spurs team, but Werner and Porro were particularly woeful and must be dropped for some time.

England, Pakistan in victory race as bold declaration transforms Pindi Test

Brook’s high-tempo fifty and early breakthroughs keep all results possible for day five

Valkerie Baynes04-Dec-2022

Harry Brook’s high-tempo innings drove England to a bold tea-time declaration•AFP/Getty Images

Another fearless performance by newcomer Harry Brook, a calculated declaration and a short-ball barrage that had Pakistan reeling initially in pursuit of a lofty 343 runs for victory: Bazball was on a Rawalpindi rampage on the penultimate day of this first Test. When England’s fresh, aggressive approach to Tests was still in its infancy during their home summer and they came a cropper against South Africa at Lord’s, new head coach Brendon McCullum’s message was simple and effective, along the lines of: if you think you’ve pushed hard enough, push some more. His charges have wholeheartedly embraced the message, positioning themselves to claim the remaining eight wickets they need – possibly seven depending on how Azhar Ali pulls up overnight from a finger injury – on a pitch that has proven to be a batting paradise.Pakistan are not out of the contest with Imam-ul-Haq, who made 121 in the first innings, steadying the hosts from 25 for 2 and unbeaten on 43 at stumps, and Saud Shakeel not out 24, needing another 263 runs.An enthralling day’s play began with Test debutant Will Jacks completing a six-wicket haul on debut after the hosts had put up an hour-and-a-half’s worth of resistance, thanks to Agha Salman’s fifty which contained England’s first-innings lead to 78 runs.Ben Stokes dismissed Babar Azam as England made early inroads•Getty Images

But the tourists then stretched that to 342 in 35.5 overs of high-tempo batting in their second innings, Brook stealing the show among England’s three half-centurions with a sublime display of strokeplay and timing. Then Pakistan succumbed to England’s short-ball tactics which, in the space of nine eventful deliveries, accounted for opener Abdullah Shafique and captain Babar Azam , either side of Azhar retiring hurt.Pakistan were 20 without loss after four overs in their second innings, sedate in the bizarre context of the feverish run-rates so far but a positive opening gambit in its own right, as both men traded the threat of England’s bouncers with the scoring opportunities they offeredBut then Ollie Robinson removed Shafique, pulling to Brook at deep square leg before striking Azhar a heavy blow on the tip of his right index finger, which sent him back to the dressing-room for treatment while on nought, and brought Babar to the crease, to the home crowd’s delight.Babar was the leading scorer among three Pakistan centurions – and seven in total – for the match with his first-innings 136. but he managed just four before feathering a Ben Stokes bouncer to wicketkeeper Ollie Pope as a hush fell over the stands.England could have had another wicket late in the evening when substitute fielder Keaton Jennings put down a chance at short leg off Shakeel, then on 22, from the bowling of Jack Leach.Stokes had declared during the tea break after Brook, Joe Root and Zak Crawley all reached fifties in the middle session.England were 46 for 2 at lunch after Ben Duckett followed his first-innings ton with a first-ball duck and Pope fell for 15.But Brook upstaged all others for a second time in just his second Test. Having top-scored in England’s first innings with a rapid 153 off just 116 balls, he threatened to post another quickfire century with a boundary-laden 87 off 65 balls. Three times Brook powered Zahid Mahmood over the rope for six, his big shots looking effortless much of the time, before he was bowled by Naseem Shah on the stroke of tea going for one swing too many. Will Jacks walks off after taking 6 for 161 on debut•Getty Images

Crawley added another fifty to his first-innings 122, but no sooner had he brought up his latest milestone in 47 balls, he was caught behind off a Mohammad Ali short ball with Pakistan overturning umpire Ahsan Raza’s not-out decision when replays showed that the ball had kissed the glove on the way through to Mohammad Rizwan.Root reached the same milestone off 48 deliveries, crashing Naseem’s fuller ball through mid-off to the boundary as England kept the tempo high. Then, in an audacious move, Root switched to batting left-handed for the first ball of legspinner Mahmood’s first over after drinks. He produced two sweeps, the second of which was put down by Naseem at midwicket then, switching back to right-handed, Root reverse-swept the next ball he faced through backward point for four. Root eventually fell sweeping too, top-edging a Zahid delivery which was going wide down the leg side to Imam at short backward square. Stokes followed for a duck off the third ball he faced, chasing a Zahid ball outside off and bobbing a catch to Shakeel at cover.Jacks staged a doughty cameo of 24 off 13 balls, including three sixes, before he holed out to long-off, bringing like-minded heavy-hitter Liam Livingstone to the crease after spending much of the Pakistan innings off the field with a knee injury. Livingstone remained unbeaten on 7 at the declaration.Jacks, called up as a late replacement for Ben Foakes who was struck down by illness on the eve of the match, ended up bowling more than he ever would have imagined with fellow debutant and part-time spinner Livingstone out of action. Jacks sent down down 40.3 overs – second behind only frontline spinner Leach’s 49 – and walked away with 6 for 161.Jacks, who came into this match with just 21 first-class wickets, began the day with three more already to his name – including that of Babar – and, after the hosts resumed on 499 for 7, he took care of the rest.Salman brought up his second Test fifty with a well-placed chip off Leach over the covers which raced to the boundary, but fell a short time later, edging Jacks to Crawley at slip. The dismissal brought in Test debutant Haris Rauf, who was cleared to bat but not bowl in England’s second innings after suffering a thigh strain from rolling over the ball while fielding on the first day. He was Pakistan’s last man out, chasing a wider Jacks delivery and edging to Root, who took a strong catch reaching overhead at slip.

Alex Hales and Jos Buttler carry England into final with 10-wicket mauling of India

India could manage only 168 for 6, before the England openers took charge

Alagappan Muthu10-Nov-20222:41

Moody: ‘India lacked intent in the first half of their innings’

For all of England’s game-breaking talent, this win that takes them into the 2022 Men’s T20 World Cup final was all about doing the basics right. They protected the short square boundary in Adelaide, giving away only two sixes until the start of the death overs. They saw a chance to break open a chase of 169 in the powerplay, when the ball was coming on nicely under the lights, and seized it, smashing 10 boundaries while the field was up.A score 63 for 0 in six became 170 for 0 in 16. Jos Buttler became a supernova. Alex Hales became a dream come true. became .The Hales gamble
One horrid rain-soaked night at the MCG, England played the way they swore they never would. The captain then came out and said “let it hurt”.Pain is powerful, but just as well as it disorients, it brings clarity. In that it forces people to do everything possible to never feel it again. And that’s what’s happened.Since that defeat to Ireland, where they kept second-guessing themselves, England have batted and bowled with ultimate clarity. The selection of Hales was one of ultimate clarity. He came with solid experience in Australian conditions. They needed that experience. Buttler made the call. And now here is the payoff.A player who, for a long time, came to be known as a disruptive force within the England team was given a second chance. And he’s repaid their faith with an innings that broke the biggest superpower in the world of cricket.Hales equalled India’s tally of sixes all by himself – seven – reducing their bowlers to rubble. He even backed himself to clear Adelaide’s massive 88-metre straight boundaries.India played a hand in their own undoing as ESPNcricinfo’s Karthik Krishnaswamy notes here. They had batted against a bowling attack that allowed them to score a mere 64 runs off 46 balls square of the wicket in the first 15 overs. England though had no such restrictions. Their batters were given all the room they needed to access the short boundary. Hales and Buttler amassed 98 runs off 54 balls square of the wicket in their first 15 overs.Jos Buttler and Alex Hales soak in their unbroken 170-run stand•Getty Images

Buttler’s brilliance
This is how you break a match-up. Coming into this game, Buttler had fallen to Bhuvneshwar Kumar five times in 32 balls in T20I cricket. He must have known this because first ball he charged out of his crease, intent on negating the India bowler’s biggest strength. His swing. These were the kinds of moves Buttler was making all night as he finished on 80 off 49.He front-loaded Adil Rashid against India’s right-hand heavy top-order. And the legspinner took out Suryakumar Yadav. He reaffirmed Chris Jordan’s faith in his yorkers. One of those toppled Virat Kohli off his feet.Virat Kohli stumbles trying to play a Chris Jordan yorker•AFP via Getty Images

He silenced a crowd of 40,094 – getting all revved up thanks to Hardik Pandya – with one single shot. A pull for four off Axar Patel.Buttler was at the centre of a lot of good things – but most of them probably date back to the drawing board.England won this game in the backroom. They contained a 360-degree player by taking pace off, because at least that way, you’re only defending one side of the pitch. The one in front of the batter.Buttler backed Rashid to pull off this heist, and this was even after the legspinner had been punished for a boundary first ball all because he had dared to toss it up.Rashid could easily have protected his figures tonight. Sat back and pointed people to his tournament economy rate (6.25). But no, he didn’t. He bought into the plan and picked up perhaps the most important wicket for England. Just his second of the World Cup.Suryakumar is the man India look to for acceleration through the middle and the death. With him gone for 14 off 10, the game had changed.Hardik rising
There was only one phase of play that England lost in this game. And that was when Hardik decided enough was enough. He was 13 off 15 at the start of the 17th over. India were 110 for 3. They had tried to disrupt England.Rohit Sharma hit one of the shots of the night – a one-bounce four over extra cover off a near Jordan yorker – but he fell three balls later.Suryakumar succumbed after hitting Ben Stokes for a six and a four. All of this prompted Kohli to go into anchor mode, which meant the other guy had to go big.Hardik Pandya hit five sixes in his 33-ball 63•AFP/Getty Images

And Hardik did. He brought out the helicopter shot against Jordan. He escorted a wide yorker for four past short third off Sam Curran. He flat batted short balls all around the park.India made 58 runs in their last four overs. Fifty of them came off Hardik’s bat. This was his scoring sequence from the 18th over: 6, 6, dot, 1, 1, 4, 6, 4, 1, 6, 4, out (having trodden on his stumps while whipping the ball for what would have been another four). Five of those 12 balls were attempted yorkers. Many of them landed pretty close to the perfect spot. But Hardik stands so deep in his crease and brings so much of his wrists into his strokeplay that even they became boundary-scoring opportunities. From looking like they’d be lucky to get to 140, India had 168. India had hope. And then nothing. Or maybe its worse than that because now there will be questions about the way they played their first 10 overs (62 for 2 with only seven boundaries) against a team full of power-hitters.England chasing history
They invented the game. They hosted each of the first three World Cups. They absolutely loved cricket. And there were a few nice moments.A passion-filled night in Karachi. Several glorious weeks in Australia. An unforgettable adventure in India. But there was also, “I intend… to make them grovel”. And, “We’ll have a bowl.”England + Cricket = broken-heart emojiBut then, on a fine summer’s day in 2019, they got their “I love you” back. And It. Meant. Everything. Now they want “I love you more”. Maybe even “I love you most”. Because England, through all the twists and turns and tragicomedy, are now just one win away from being the first men’s team in history to hold both World Cups at the same time. It’s taken a lot of effort to get here. A complete rewiring of DNA, in fact. Seriously, if you take one of Buttler’s cells and put it under a microscope, you’ll just see a scoop over fine leg for six. This is England now. This is the revolution that Eoin Morgan began and Buttler sustains. It got its validation at Lord’s on that fine summer’s day in 2019. But you know the thing with these things. Once is never ever enough.

Lauren Winfield-Hill, Linsey Smith to the fore as Northern Diamonds break duck in thrilling final

Vipers beaten by two runs in gripping finish, 24 hours after dramatic finish to Lord’s ODI

Northern Diamonds celebrate the moment of victory in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy final•Getty Images

Northern Diamonds 215 for 9 (Winfield-Hill 65, Heath 44, Adams 3-34) beat Southern Vipers 213 for 9 (Adams 70, Bouchier 48) by two runsLauren Winfield-Hill and Linsey Smith made it third time lucky for Northern Diamonds as they finally beat Southern Vipers by two runs in a thriller at Lord’s to get their hands on the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.Diamonds had come up short against Vipers in the two previous finals, but Winfield-Hill hit 65 and Smith 27 in an opening stand of 83 to form the basis of their total of 215 for 9, Bess Heath later adding 44 while Georgia Adams returned figures of three for 34 and Paige Scholfield two for 36.Adams then made 70 with the bat, while Maia Bouchier weighed in with a spectacular 48, but the spin wizardry of Smith (two for 24) and three victims behind the stumps for Winfield-Hill saw Vipers come up just short in a breathless finish. The day also saw Charlie Dean playfully pretend to run Smith out at the non-striker’s end during the Diamonds innings, evoking thoughts of her run-out by that means at the hands of India’s Deepti Sharma in the ODI 24 hours earlier.Winfield-Hill, the tournament’s leading run-scorer, towered over the opening stages of the final. The England international drove the ball exquisitely, mainly through the off-side, one back-foot punch through cover a thing of beauty.Fellow opener Smith should have been stumped by Chloe Hill after dancing the pitch to Charlotte Taylor, but the chance went begging. Taylor though would soon extract revenge, Smith chipping one back to the spinner.Winfield-Hill pressed on to an elegant 50 with seven fours, but Hollie Armitage, like Smith, struggled to time the ball. Nevertheless, the score reached 114 for 1 before Armitage took an ugly swipe at Scholfield and was bowled.A dramatic collapse was triggered as Sterre Kalis fell first ball, Scholfield finding movement off the pitch to take the ball between bat and pad and uproot the off-stump once more. Phoebe Turner survived the hat-trick ball only to miss a straight one from Taylor in the following over and disaster followed as Winfield-Hill’s serene innings ended on 65, run out by Georgia Elwiss’ return from cover. Four wickets had fallen for five runs in 17 balls and Diamonds were teetering on the brink.Heath and Leah Dobson stopped the bleeding, slowly at first before acceleration came late in a stand of 85. Heath struck Georgia Adams for three boundaries in quick succession before becoming the first of a trio of late wickets for the Vipers’ skipper, two coming off successive balls in the final over.Chasing 216, Vipers lost Ella McCaughan to the miserly Smith and Elwiss was castled by a huge in-swinger from Lizzie Scott.Bouchier led the fightback, hitting first Katy Levick back over her head for four before taking heavy toll of the spin of Leigh Kasperek as a 50 partnership with Adams rattled up in a hurry.Diamonds needed inspiration but instead got a large slice of luck when Bouchier belted an Armitage full toss straight to Smith at cover. That brought Windsor to the crease, who signalled her intent with a dreamy cover-drive for four, but Armitage would account for her too as she nicked one through to Winfield-Hill.Dean though picked up where she left off with England 24 hours earlier as 13 came from Armitage’s penultimate over and the pendulum appeared to swing back towards Vipers once again. She was given a life on 26 in Armitage’s next over when Levick grassed the chance at point. Fortunately, it wasn’t costly as she would clout a Kaseperek long-hop down the throat of short mid-wicket with 53 still needed.Adams remained having gone almost unnoticed to 50 with only one four, but when she was stumped by Winfield-Hill from the bowling of Levick 20 were needed from the final two overs.Smith bowled Scholfield amid rising tension and 13 from the final over proved just too many.

Murillo 2.0: Nottingham Forest can rival Wood by signing £25m sensation

da betano casino: Nottingham Forest have made an extraordinary start to the season. Nuno Espirito Santo has guided his side to a remarkable fifth in the Premier League at the November international break, with 19 points to their name. They are outside of a top four spot on goal difference.

da bet esporte: Impressively, the men in Garibaldi Red have lost just two games all season. Both of those defeats have come at the City Ground, losing to Fulham 1-0 in September and, most recently, suffering a 3-1 defeat against Newcastle United.

Of their five wins so far, the three points they got at Anfield was certainly the most impressive, especially with Liverpool sitting top of the table.

There have been several standout players for Forest this season, but perhaps none more so than Chris Wood.

Wood’s stats in 2024/25

It has been a superb campaign so far for experienced Forest centre-forward Wood. The 32-year-old has already scored eight goals this term, having played just 11 games. He is just six goals away from equalling his best-ever Premier League season, with a maximum of 27 games to go.

There is currently just one player who has scored more goals than Wood this season in the top flight of English football. Unsurprisingly, that man is Erling Haaland, who has found the back of the net 12 times.

Stats from Premier League

Wood’s best month this season was October. The New Zealand international scored four of his eight goals during that period, which was enough to earn him the Premier League’s Player of the Month award. Nuno was the recipient of the Manager of the Month for October, too.

As per FBref, the striker is ninth in the list across Europe’s big five leagues when it comes to the biggest overachievement of expected goals. Indeed, his tally for that particular metric is just 4.5xG, meaning he has a difference of 3.5 between his expedited goals and his actual goals scored. He is simply deadly in front of goal.

It has been an incredible start to the season for Wood and his side. However, Forest might well look to spur him on further by strengthening the striker department and adding competition to continue bringing the best out of their talisman this season.

Nottingham Forest's search for a striker

The player in question here is Brazilian striker Yuri Alberto. According to a report from Trivela earlier this week, a move for the striker ‘has been speculated. by the Midlands side. The report suggests that Forest would have to pay £25m to sign one of the most in-form strikers in Brazilian football.

Corinthians forward Yuri Alberto.

It is fair to say that the striker has been on fire this season for his side, Corinthians. In 53 games in all competitions, the Brazil international has scored 26 goals and has six assists to his name.

That includes an impressive nine goals in ten games in the Copa Libertadores.

It certainly seems like the striker could keep Wood on his toes. He clearly knows where the back of the net is, and was described as a “complete forward” by football talent scout Jacek Kulig. He averages 0.6 goals and assists per game at this stage, slightly less than Forest’s experienced number 11, who averages 0.72.

The Midlands club have already brought players into the club from Corinthians in recent seasons. Last summer, they signed defender Murillo for £15m, and this summer signed 6 foot 8 goalkeeper Carlos Miguel for £3.4m. The centre-back, in particular, has been a great success in Garibaldi Red so far and has seen his value skyrocket in the process.

Given those past negotiations, it might not be too difficult of a deal to complete.

This deal could be a very smart move from Forest. Not only would they be signing a proven goalscorer who can provide real competition to Wood, but adding to the talented crop of Brazilian players – such as Murillo – at the club would also represent a coup for the present and future, especially if they can sell him for healthy profit in the years to come.

For just £25m, it certainly seems as though Yuri Alberto would be an excellent addition to a Forest squad who are performing so well, and could get their biggest stars to raise their levels even more.

Edu simply must offload Nottingham Forest dud who earns more than Murillo

Nottingham Forest’s big-money signing has been a huge flop during his time at the City Ground.

Assim, Thiago Couto assumiu a posição.

A partida acontecerá no estádioJoaquim Américo Guimarães.

Spurs struck gold on "world-class" ace who’s a £125m star in the making

da aposte e ganhe: Tottenham Hotspur have been through a whole heap of change over the last four years or so.

da bet7k: The fans have seen managers come and go, expensive signings flop, and even club icon Harry Kane finally leave.

However, while Ange Postecoglou hasn’t been able to remove the club’s inconsistent streak, he has, at the very least, made them entertaining to watch again, which certainly wasn’t the case under former manager Antonio Conte.

However, for all the Italian’s mistakes in North London, he did at least sign one of the club’s best players, a player who could soon be worth north of £100m based on those he’s compared to.

Conte's recruitment misstep

Before we get to the player in question, let’s look at another of the personnel additions made by Conte during his time in the hot seat, one who has not had the best of times in North London: Richarlison.

The Brazilian joined Spurs for a whopping £60m in the summer of 2022, and off the back of a campaign in which he scored 11 goals and provided five assists in just 33 games for Everton, it was easy to understand why Daniel Levy and Co sanctioned such an expensive offer.

However, the former Watford ace’s first year in N17 was a disaster, as in 35 appearances across all competitions, he racked up a measly tally of three goals and four assists, meaning that he maintained an average of a goal involvement once every five games, which can hardly be described as value for money.

Tottenham forward Richarlison

Last season, under the management of Postecoglou, things panned out a little better for the Nova Venécia-born forward, as he scored 12 goals and provided four assists in 31 games.

However, the one mark on that record is that nine of those goals came between gameweek 16 and 23 in the league, so outside that period, he remained unreliable in front of goal.

This season has seen the 27-year-old score once and provide one assist in seven appearances, but injuries have been a problem, and with Dominic Solanke’s arrival in the summer it seems like his time at Spurs is all but up, which cannot be said for another of Conte’s signings, who is thriving this year.

The Conte signing star who could be worth a fortune

To get straight to the point, the player in question is Swedish sensation Dejan Kulusevski, who initially joined Conte’s Tottenham on an 18-month loan deal in January 2022, but was then signed permanently for around £23m in June the following year.

In the almost three years that the 24-year-old has been at the club, he has established himself as undoubtedly one of their most technically brilliant players, and while he’s had some dips in form along the way, he remains one of their most dangerous players.

In his 113 appearances to date, the Stockholm-born phenom has scored 17 goals and provided 24 assists, equating to an average of a goal involvement every 2.75 games, which is even more impressive when you consider that he’s played in seven different positions during those 113 games.

Speaking of positional changes, he’s undergone a significant one under Postecoglou, as the Australian is now primarily playing the “world-class” star, as described by talent scout Jacek Kulig, in midfield, and it’s proving to be an inspired change.

For example, of his seven goal involvements so far this season, six of them have come when he’s started in central or attacking midfield, and it was there that he put in his best performance of the campaign away to Manchester United as well.

This sensational form and new position has seen him land comparisons with some of the most exciting and valuable players in the world, including Manchester City’s Phil Foden.

The comparison stems from FBref, which compares players in similar positions across Europe’s top five leagues, the Champions League and Europa League then creates a list of the ten most comparable players for each one, and in this instance, has concluded that the Englishman is the sixth most similar midfielder to the Lilywhites star.

Now, to get a better idea of how this conclusion was reached, we can examine the underlying metrics in which the pair ranks most closely, metrics including but not limited to non-penalty expected goals, progressive passes, key passes and passes into the penalty area and aerial duels won, all per 90.

While it’s great in its own right to be compared to such a highly thought-of midfielder, it should also delight Levy and Co, as if the pair are so statistically similar and are the same age, then they should be worth similar amounts, right?

Phil Foden wins the Premier League

If so, the North Londoners would be sitting on an incredibly valuable asset, as Transfermarkt values the City star at an eye-watering €150m, which converts to around £125m.

Therefore, while he might not have that valuation today, it could be argued that in Kulusevski, Tottenham have an incredible £125m megastar in the making.

Spurs must rue selling £10m ace who Neville thinks should play for England

The talented midfielder would be quite useful for Spurs right about now.
