– A temporada pra mim tem sido muito importante. Tive períodos no profissional, fiz minha estreia. Então nessa transição com a base isso tem me ajudado muito nesse ano. Me vejo em evolução, maduro – concluiu Biro.

Our full-backs are such a big part of what we do, and how we attack. I thought they used the ball really well.
“They were given tough examinations, they were up against very good opponents. But I was really pleased with both of their performances.”
Still just 22-years-old, Livramento is likely to be Newcastle’s first choice fullback for much of the next decade should he remain at St James’ Park, and could well go on to become a legend on Tyneside if his early performances are anything to go by. Now, Newcastle want to repeat that trick.

Speaking on Match of the Day, former Premier League ace Danny Murphy revealed he expects Dibling to become a star: “It is the quality he has got – the belief in himself and the physical power. He just goes past people with ease. He has got a lovely left foot. He is very brave on the ball and his decision-making is good.

His form has caught the eye of other Premier League sides, while he is down to the final 18 months of his £5,000-a-week deal on the South coast and is yet to pen fresh terms, leaving clubs sniffing a potential opportunity.
Newcastle are one of those sides, with Howe’s side “keeping tabs on his progress”, while his additon would fit into their plan “to give young English talents a chance to shine” on Tyneside.

The series in March, however, will now comprise three T20Is and not ODIs and will be played at an offshore venue, with the Afghanistan and Pakistan boards sharing the revenue 50-50.On January 12, Cricket Australia had announced its decision to withdraw from playing Afghanistan because of the Taliban’s “further restrictions on women’s and girls’ education” in Afghanistan. When asked about PCB’s stance on the issue, Sethi said: “That is not our business and we don’t like to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. As you can see in the table above, the Whites have created more than enough chances, the eighth-most in the league in fact, but they have only scored three of the 17 ‘big chances’ they have had.
With their evident struggles at the top end of the pitch, Farke may wonder what his team would look like if they had kept hold of a player like Georginio Rutter.
Why Leeds need Georginio Rutter in their team
The lack of depth and quality in their squad was on full display on Saturday when Brenden Aaronson and Jack Harrison lined up on the wings for the West Yorkshire outfit against Burnley.
Per Sofascore, Aaronson and Harrison have scored two goals in their last 85 Premier League matches combined, which shows that they are unlikely to provide much in the way of quality in the final third to win points for the team.
Leeds sold Rutter to Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2024 for £40m, due to a release clause in his contract, after they lost the play-off final to Southampton.

As you can see in the table above, the France U21 international enjoyed a decent first season with the Seagulls in the top-flight, with eight direct goal contributions in 28 matches.
His return of five goals in 28 games is, obviously, far more impressive than Aaronson and Harrison’s combined hauls at Premier League level, which is why Leeds could do with a player of his quality right now.
Rutter, as shown in the clip above, has proven that he can provide moments of quality in the top-flight, and Farke does not have enough players of that ilk in his current squad.

The former Napoli attacker is possibly the only attacking player, as in a winger or a striker, who has shown genuine quality in front of goal in the Premier League this season, scoring two goals in five matches.
Okafor has a stunning conversion rate of 33% across his five appearances in the Premier League so far, and the clip above showcases why, as he has the pace, composure, and quality to take chances when they come his way.
AllLeedsTV presenter Oscar Marrio called the Swiss star a “class difference maker” who “raises everyone else’s game around him” because he is the club’s “most important player”, which is backed up by his statistics.

As you can see in the table above, Okafor’s current form is even more impressive than what Rutter showed for Brighton in the 2024/25 campaign, as he is scoring goals and creating chances with greater regularity, whilst also offering far more to the team as a dribbler.
As Marrio said, the £18m summer signing is a difference-maker at the top end of the pitch. His ability as a scorer, a creator, and a dribbler, means that he provides a constant threat down the left flank for Leeds.
He may have cost £22m less than what Brighton paid for Rutter in 2024, but Okafor looks to be an even bigger talent than Rutter, with the quality that he has been able to offer in the Premier League so far this season.
At the age of 25, the summer signing also has time left ahead of him to develop further at Elland Road and potentially be worth even more than Rutter was sold for in the future if he can keep up his current performance levels.

It was a familiar sight. Pant walked out after Bangladesh had taken three early wickets with excellent bowling, but the fielding side was already retreating. By now Pant started making fielders look redundant. He hit five sixes, clearing a boundary rider on each occasion. With two of these sixes, he swung so hard the bat slipped out of the bottom hand upon contact. However, Phillips has, to date, made just 32 times in over three years for the Citizens, of which only six are starts, accumulating a miserly 921 minutes, the same time it takes to drive from the Etihad to the Eiffel Tower.
After spectacularly unmemorable loan spells at West Ham and Ipswich, the forgotten man returned to Manchester this summer.
He made his first appearance for the Citizens in 690 days when coming off the bench for a six minute cameo at Huddersfield in the EFL Cup but, having not even been named among the substitutes for any other fixture, fair to surmise that he isn’t back in Guardiola’s plans.

Aside from the new recruits, Phillips has made, by some distance, the fewest appearances for the club of any of the expensive signings, but it could be concerning times ahead for one of those listed.

O clube justificou a utilização da Arena Barueri para o confronto decisivo com o fato de que não poderá usar o Parque São Jorge nem a Neo Química Arena por diferentes motivos. O primeiro destes estádios não terá como abrigar a partida porque ainda não está habilitado para ter a arbitragem de vídeo. Já a arena alvinegra foi descartada porque no dia seguinte, em 1º de novembro, o time masculino alvinegro atuará no local contra a Chapecoense, pelo Brasileirão.

O Sport Club Corinthians Paulista informa que definiu a Arena Barueri como estádio para a disputa do segundo jogo das semifinais do Campeonato Paulista de Futebol Feminino, no próximo domingo (31), às 11h.
O Corinthians esclarece que o estádio Alfredo Schürig (Fazendinha) não pode receber a partida por seguir em processo de habilitação para o VAR.
Já a Neo Química Arena não poderá ser utilizada nesta ocasião devido ao jogo Corinthians x Chapecoense, que será no dia seguinte, 1/11, pelo Brasileirão Série A Masculino. Por se tratar do primeiro jogo com 100% de público no estádio desde o início da pandemia de Covid-19, serão necessárias adaptações e ações operacionais que inviabilizariam o uso de suas dependências na data e no horário da partida do Paulistão Feminino.
Desta forma, optou-se pela Arena Barueri, utilizada pelo futebol feminino do Corinthians na final do Campeonato Paulista de 2020 e na semifinal do Campeonato Brasileiro de 2021.
